In large PV power plants nearly all types of maintenance work bear safety risks. A well-orga- nized maintenance strategy applies a special maintenance risk management to provide an as safe as possible working environment. It covers and presents all relevant hazards and presents adequate solutions for mitigation.
PV power plant operation should take place under safe, continuous, and trouble-free condi- tions. Planned service routines should keep the plant in an up-to-standard condition, be well scheduled and executed and result in minimum energy losses.
